Ray

I'm told this is a ray. I haven't been told whether this is its face.

Artwork on the cycle path at Portgordon.
There used to be another one which
held a beer tankard with "Behold
the curse of man" but it was stolen.
I've heard since that this one has
now disappeared too.

May sunsets

In May 2004 I took a photo every
night, just before sunset, across
the Moray Firth, and from the same place
each time. Sometimes there
was a sun visible, sometimes not.
These are arranged in date order
with 3 taken out to make the
format work. A close look shows how
much further the sun has set to
the northwest at the end of the
month compared to the start.
